Overview

Every country in the world has its own internationally acceptable format for education and training of medical and health students and each has its own – very similar – the training methodology and skilled (and licensed) professionals in this field. Worldwide there are many important institutions of medical training, with a philosophy centered in the general development of future generations of experts and industry leaders in this field, and future medical students have a wide variety of choice when for the institution eligible to participate, and doctors the right to learn.
Entering the medical field
Around the world, different curricula are followed and entered the medical school of training required of prospective students to meet certain criteria.
– Entry to undergraduate countries (European and Asian)
Undergraduate Entrance generally requires that students have completed at least secondary school (or level A in the UK) and the certificate of one year of preparatory studies before entering specific medical training.
– Second entry professional degree (first – U.S. and Canada)
A second degree is the entry for which the student is required to be completed within 2-3 years of study (higher education) as a prerequisite for entry into medical education. This diploma is considered a "first professional title (such as graduate training) after of the first degree is completed in a related field of science.
– Graduate Admission – Graduate Entry Program (GEP or GMP)
These are programs U.S. physicians occur outside and Canada, that the admission is offered to graduates of colleges and universities who have already obtained a bachelor and is enjoying an aptitude test (MCAT, etc.).
Postgraduate Education
New trained doctors are required to complete a training period practice, usually with a hospital or clinic. Central Service Technician and Surgical Technician: An expert in the Boards of surgery procedures for sterilizing medical and surgical instruments. The work includes assisting in surgery, sterilization and proper handling team.
Assistant Clinical Laboratory Technician and Phlebotomy: This technical collection of blood, saliva and urine and the treatment for testing and actually carries out these tests as well.
Dialysis Technician: trained to perform dialysis procedures.
Medical professionals Attendance: Perform administrative tasks in managing the facilities and care tasks related to basic health care to the patient (the future Students only need a high school in the U.S.).
Medical Technology: Lab-work, including the application tests for the diagnosis, so this area requires a 4 year degree and certification from the national association concerned.
Professional sports medicine: This area is relevant for orthopedics, biomechanics, physical and massage therapy and nutrition. A practice in this field, a full diploma and license is required.
