most popular sororities greek

Sorority life: Is it for the “most-popular-girls-in-like-highschool” or is it for ones who had ZERO friends?
Who are they? Do you wish you were (glad you’re not) Greek? Are you already Greek? Why?
I didn’t join a sorority because I was going to college with my best friend and didn’t feel like having to get dressed up and try to impress a whole bunch of snooty girls who I really didn’t care about anyway. However, I lived in the “sorority dorm” where a lot of the freshman girls who had joined a house lived, and while I was frequently annoyed by their “Oh my god – should I wear the blue or the red to formal dinner tonight?” comments, they did seem to have fun and have a lot of activites to do. So, it’s probably a good way to meet friends if you’re into the whole socializing scene. (Which I was not.) I think if I had been going to school without my friend, I would have wished I would have joined one, just because I have a hard time introducing myself to new people. Where, in the sororities, it’s pretty much just forced upon you!
