Looking for a simple red dress on a budget! any ideas? where should I look?

I need a simple red dress for my sorority’s rush in the fall! It cannot be strapless/spaghetti strap. I am also a poor college student so it can’t be too expensive! any ideas/websites/stores to look? I live in northern california if that helps!
