sorority of the year

what are the advantages and disadvantages of being in a sorority? (your freshman year in college)?

Im a high school senior who plan on joining a sorority at UF or UCF when i get there.
Is it hard?? expensive?? and regretful?? fun?? unforgettable??

Pros:
- You have an automatic set of friends who will generally back you up and be there to support you if you’re doing something like an exhibit, cheerleading, giving a speech etc.
- You have an awesome alumni network to play with which can help with the job hunt after graduating.

Cons:
- You get labeled as a stereotypical sorority girl (ie: stupid and easy).
- You tend to not really have many friends outside of the sorority unless you REALLY make an effort (since sororities do take up a lot of time).
