What the “Heck” is the Best Fat Burner out there? Or should I be looking at the Best Fat Blocker? And are you serious that there are pills which actually Block Fat?
Isn’t that totally insane!
Let’s take a minute shall we and briefly describe the difference between a fat burner and a fat blocker.
Fat burners essentially increase your metabolism by burning the fat that you consume that much quicker and in larger quantities. One of the initial causes that contributes to weight gain in it’s preliminary period is having a slow metabolism. Couple that with a fatty diet and no exercise and the recipe for gaining weight will manifest.
Fat blockers are somewhat different. Fat blockers are designed to block the fatty acids you would normally ingest by reducing your enzymes capabilities in the stomach to break them down. Some of the best fat blockers do act as fat burners as well though, which we will go into in more detail in a second.
If your skeptical whether a fat blocking pill actually works or not, consider this: If the product is medically approved and has undergone clinical testing then it has been medically approved for a reason.
Clinical testing involves individuals like you or I, voluntarily letting these drug companies use our bodies to test their weight loss pills. Most trials work in 5 phases and can last up to 3 years, so to receive medical backing from the medical fraternity is the seal of approval.
Make sure if you do purchase any fat burning or fat blocking pills that they have this. There are many scammers out there undercutting the weight loss pills industry so beware of these.
If the product has also received F.D.A (Food and Drugs Association) backing, that’s always a plus as it means it can be sold over the counter without prescription.
Treatment Effects:
This is how the weight loss industry like to term a fat burner or blockers side effects.
There’s no getting away from the fact that these weight loss pills are far from perfect. You may remember the crazy “hey days” of the “Size Zero” Pill, or Clenbuterol.
Fat Burner Side Effects: This was an extremely powerful fat burner, which hit celebrity circles in 2007 and proved to be an instant hit in the U.S. I say “was” because it is now banned in most countries and only available through prescription in the U.S.
This fat burner really got the heart racing, so much so that the most common side effects reported were repetitive jitters, a racing heart and panic attacks. It was also an almighty appetite suppressant, which would lead to suppressed hunger by up to 9 hours, which in some cases lead to eating disorders.
This is a strong example of fat burning pill side effects.
Fat Blocking Side Effects: Both weight loss pills have their pitfalls. Fat blockers are no different.
One of the most common treatment effects here are loose bowels and liquid stools. Alli is one example of this. Alli claims to block up to 25% of your dietary fat intake and is actually F.D.A approved, but you do have to watch what you eat.
Consuming a maximum of 15mgs of fat will eliminate any irritable bowels etc, but this may be a hindrance for some.
So our advice in this review on choosing the best fat burner or blocker would be to make sure that these products have been medically endorsed and ideally contain no “treatment effects”.
