sorority advisors

Membership – Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.?
I’m interested in pursuing membership in this sorority. I’ve done my research and continue to do so, but my problem is that I’m somewhat timid, which is an obstacle in getting to know the members of the sorority when I attend their events. Does anyone have any advice? Also, the Graduate Advisor attends the different events, I suppose she oversees everything. I’m thinking that it would be rude not to introduce myself to her or converse with her on several occasions as well. Is it proper to converse with her? And also, does anyone(preferably a member of a Black Greek Letter Organization) have any tips and topics that I should have in a conversation with the members and Graduate Advisor?
Thank you in advance! I really appreciate it!
Ditto Soror PrettyAKADoll1908’s advice. Also, you already have a lot in common–you’re about the same age, attend the same school, undergraduate…you name it. The programs you attend are also about something; talk about that. There is no shortage of topics, just talk. And, as PrettyAKA said, you don’t need to get to know the grad advisor, just the chapter members. Good luck.
